Jerome Klapka Jerome (May 2, 1859–June 14, 1927) was an English author, best known for the humourous travelog Three Men in a Boat.

He was innate inside Walsall (now in the West Midlands, but then around Staffordshire), where there exists at present the museum inside his honour, & brought higher witharound impoverishment in London.

More works include a essay collections Idle Thoughts of an Idle Fellow and Second Thoughts of an Idle Fellow; Three Men on the Bummel, a sequel to 3 Men within the Boat; & many more novels.
